The teams: Kolkata Knight Riders v Mumbai Indians. Gautam Gambhir v Rohit Sharma. KKR cruised to victory in their first game against the Delhi Daredevils and showed once again that having a settled team in the IPL is priceless. MI, on the other hand, will want to quickly forget their last game against Pune and get their campaign up and running. MI have the knack of starting off slowly in the IPL, only to make unbelievable comebacks towards the back-end. Neither their coaching staff nor their fans will not want it to come down to that again!
The Venue: Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The Eden Gardens pitch has varied quite a bit in the recent past so it will be interesting to see what the curator serves up for this game. The captain winning the toss is likely to take the safe route by chasing.
Our picks for your fantasy cricket team
Sunil Narine – KKR would be delighted to have their main spinner available for selection. He joins the team on Wednesday morning and Narine will be looking to weave a web of spin around the Mumbai Indians. The presence of Narine might also make Rohit think twice about batting last if the wicket at Eden turns.
Andre Russell – Sometimes Russell might be overlooked in the flamboyant West Indian side but it is difficult to look past him for KKR. A highly dangerous player, his big hitting down the order can take the game away from the opposition and he usually bowls his full quota of overs. Expect fireworks when this man is in the game!
Hardik Pandya – He already has Russell’s hairstyle but will be more interested in emulating Russell’s exploits on the field. Pandya has shown great promise over the last fews months and Mumbai Indians will be hoping he can re-create his good Indian team form in the IPL. Expect him to bat up the order and also bowl a few overs.

[UPDATE 13/04/2016 2.30pm IST: Sunil Narine is apparently unlikely to play as he only landed in Kolkata on Tuesday night. You might want to consider Brad Hogg, who took three wickets in the last game against the Delhi Daredevils.]
